Mark Todd

The fabulous Double Olympic Individual Eventing gold Medalist Mark Todd traveled from Gloucestershire to Northumberland and gave a spectacular Lecture Demonstration and Clinic at Park End Equestrian Training Centre.
Every seat was taken and you could hear a pin drop as Mark proceeded to show us all how it’s done.  ‘Inspirational’ was the word I could hear from the crowd as his methods of training in both Flat Work and Show Jumping was explained and shown in the simplest but most effective way.  Mark is not merely an elite Event Rider but a modern day master.  The calm manner in which he rode his immaculately turned out horses was an inspiration to every level of rider watching.
We all left Park End buzzing with ideas on how to dramatically improve our own riding skills.
I think from now on there will always be a quiet corner of Northumberland secretly routing for the fabulous Mark Todd.

Please see below just some of the comments and feedback that we have received from the people who came and watched or had a lesson.

'Thought Friday's demonstration and Saturday's lessons were excellent, and a privilege to see a rider of that standard on our doorstep - thank you.'

'Please can you pass on our thanks to Charlotte and Mark for last weekend, Hannah had a great lesson with Mark, and we all really enjoyed the Friday night demo.'

'Awesome! Inspirational!
I was just too excited that I didn't really eat any tea!
I've always been a fan of Mark Todd, but to see him ride so close up was amazing! We had seats just inside the arena so the best in the house.'

'Had an absolutely fantastic night out last night, I was in complete awe when we were watching him jumping on Mouse, and he gave lots of helpful tips and advice on different exercises and things that you can do with your horse and how to ask for different things of them etc,,, really really really enjoyed it - would love to have a lesson off him one day.'

'We were sitting on the side of the arena too and when Mark stopped to answer questions, he was about 3 feet away from us. His horses are all absolutely stunning and he is just fab.'

'The lesson was great we worked on my hands and achieving the 'Toddy-position and seat' which hurt like Hell!!!! but I guess that means its working
